Tabitha Staalner

School Counselor, Educator & Multidisciplinary Learning Advocate

Tabitha Staalner is a passionate and dynamic educator with a deep commitment to student growth—academically, emotionally, and personally. She holds a B.S. in Middle Grades Education with concentrations in Math and Language Arts and an M.Ed. in School Counseling, both from Georgia Southern University, where she graduated with top academic honors. She is certified in P–12 School Counseling, Middle Grades Math and Language Arts (4–8), and as a Reading Specialist (P–12).

Since 2011, Tabitha has taught in both public and private schools, worked as an online instructor across core subjects, and led enrichment programming in STEM, finance, and the arts. She has also served as an elementary school counselor and as Clinical Director for a private program, providing whole-person support for neurodiverse students.

Her professional interests include self-regulated learning, executive functioning, SEL, behavior management, fixed vs. growth mindset, motivation, mindfulness, and the impact of aphantasia and anauralia on learning outcomes. Tabitha is also drawn to research—both qualitative and quantitative—and brings a creative flair to the Link-Wise Learning Advisory Council with interests in social media, graphic design, video editing, marketing, and the performing arts.
